#StopYuLin2015 Save Innocent Animals

Ages have passed, time has moved on and apparently, we have progressed and become ‘moderns.’ And yet, even in this modern age and with our supposedly ‘enlightened’ and ‘modern’ sensibilities, many of us are still sticking to old-world barbarism in the name of tradition.
If you use Facebook or Twitter, and chances are that you do, you must have already heard about the horrific Yulin Festival that is about to be CELEBRATED in southern Chinese city of Yulin. Thousands of dogs and maybe even other animals, including stolen pets, are going to be tortured in most horrific way before they are eaten. Just the thought of such a thing is enough to tremble one’s heart. If you feel strongly against it and would like to register your protest, here’s what you can do:

  1. Share posts about Yulin that you find on Facebook and encourage your friends to do so. A trending topic on social networks really makes a difference and makes the authorities take notice.
  2. If you use Twitter, Tweet and re-tweet as much as you can about .
  3. Sign the Petition. Here are two places where you can sign your petition against Yulin. Change org or at Care2Petitions
  4. If you have a blog, then blog about it. You can also get a code to add to your widget space or post and help your readers petition against Yulin, like the one that I have posted on my side bar and below. Get the code from HERE (Click on Embed that’s next to the words Protect All Wildlife)
