‘s Nasser Sultan is set to replace disgraced chef Pete Evans on … Get Me Out of Here!

Or at least that’s what he wants fans to believe.

On Wednesday, the 53-year-old shared a mocked-up poster of the show’s hosts Dr Chris Brown and Julia Morris, with himself edited in between them.

Across the top of the image, he wrote: ‘To replace Pete Evans.’

In the caption, the fame-chasing reality star teased: ‘Is it? Could it? Would it? I would definitely need my moisturiser and my bathrobe.’

Nasser rose to fame on Channel Nine’s Married At First Sight in 2018. He split from his ‘wife’ Gabrielle Bartlett before their final vows.

Nasser’s post about joining the cast comes after Pete was abruptly dropped by Channel 10 earlier this week.

Despite his enthusiasm, it’s unlikely the flamboyant Sydneysider will be joining the show as it has already begun filming near Murwillumbah, NSW.

Only two campers have been confirmed: Australia’s Got Talent winner Jack Vidgen and Australian Idol alum Paulini Curuenavuli, who entered the jungle on Tuesday.

News of Pete’s casting on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! was confirmed to  on Monday.

But on Tuesday morning, he was let go by the network in response to backlash over a neo-Nazi meme he’d posted on Facebook over the weekend. 

The controversial chef, 47, posted a cartoon of a caterpillar wearing a MAGA cap and a butterfly with the neo-Nazi Black Sun emblem on its wing – with the suggestion being that neo-Nazism is the natural evolution for Donald Trump supporters.

Evans is an enthusiastic supporter of the president and advocates the baseless claim that Joe Biden only won the 2020 election due to voter fraud.

The Black Sun symbol became infamous after it was introduced by top-ranking Nazi Heinrich Himmler during World War II. The symbol has since been adopted by numerous neo-Nazi groups, and by Christchurch mosque shooter Brenton Tarrant.

Evans seemingly confirmed he was aware of the meaning of the symbol when a fan stated they recognised it, and Evans replied: ‘I was waiting for someone to see that.’

He later deleted the post on Monday afternoon and replaced it with an image of a rainbow heart alongside a sarcastic non-apology in which he claimed he would be ‘studying all of the symbols that have ever existed’ to make sure he doesn’t offend anyone again.

A spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday: ‘Network 10 can confirm that Pete Evans will not be appearing on this season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’

In the days after Evans made the racist post, companies have responded to the outrage by dropping him as an ambassador and severing business ties.

The list includes his publisher Pan Macmillan, bookstore Dymocks, BIG W, Coles, kitchenware company Baccarat, Woolworths, House homewares, Target, Kmart, Booktopia and David Jones,

Also severing ties are Readings and Gleebooks bookstores, while Natural Raw C coconut water revealed it had ended its agreement with Pete earlier this year.
